About Elder Lambert/Contact Information

Elder Chase Lambert was called to serve in the Ukraine Donetsk Mission.  He left for the MTC on September 28, 2011 and will be back 2013. This blog is run by Chase’s mom (Juline Lambert). I will be posting weekly updates and pictures as they come.

Dearelder.com is the best way to reach Chase. If you send something through US Mail, here are the rates for various options. Going through Dearelder.com is free, as the church forwards the printed letters to the mission home in Ukraine once a week. It takes about 2 weeks for the “pouch” letters to arrive and 3-4-??? For regular US mail. ;-)

Here is the Dear Elder information should you choose that route: You can write Chase letters from www.dearelder.com if you choose.  IT’S FREE AND EASY!!!!!!  Plus……you don’t have to try to write in Russian, but here you go for those who are ambitious.  I would assume a letter MAY need both, but I really don’t know yet:

Prospekt Bogdana Khmelnitskogo 67a
Donetsk, 83087

In Russian, maybe somewhere on the letter as well (?)

Чейз Ламберт
Проспект Богдана Хмельницкого 67А
Донецк 83087

If you need to reach me (Juline) with anything, my email is reskumom@gmail.com and cell is (435)224-2828.

Here is some specific package mailing information from another parent who has a son there. The UPS store packaged mine up but sent it through the USPS.  They also placed some stickers of Jesus over each seam.  They said their reports back are that less boxes are cut open that way.  Worth a try!  This gives some EXCELLENT information on sending packages etc to the mission home. They said that it takes about 2 weeks if you follow these instructions, and a “medium” sized package is about $30-40 depending on weight.

Here is how you write Chase Lambert in Cyrillic as per the instructions in the document:

Чейз Ламберт

What the heck is an LDS mission all about anyway?  Here is a pretty good run down answer if you have been wondering:  http://www.dearelder.com/index/inc_name/Mormon_Missionaries/
